Growing Up Means Building Character

Life presents  each of us with opportunities that can have  positive or negative effects that can  influence our character and relationship building .  At Centre for Life, we strive  to encourage  youth   to achieve their individual potential strengths to empower them to make life affirming decisions and choices to become a successful, caring and compassionate individual in their community.

Issues Facing Kids and Teens

Did you know

A nationally representative survey found that 64% of young people ages 13-24, actively seek out pornography weekly or more often[i]. A popular tube site reports that in 2016, people watched 4.6 billion hours of pornography on its site alone;[ii] 61% occurred via smart phones,[iii]. Eleven pornography sites are among the world’s top 300 most popular Internet sites. The most popular such site, at number 18 outranks the likes of eBay,MSN,and Netflix[iv] accessed from http://nationalcenteronsexualexploitation.org

At Centre for Life, we believe pornography is harmful  to healthy sexuality and relationships and is a contributing factor  for the human sex trafficking trade.

With our friends at Fight the New Drug, we encourage adolescents to be aware of the harms of pornography and how it can affect your life and relationships. To hear Terry Crews speak about his struggle with pornography.
